Your're dealt J3 un in the big blind. Everyone folds except the small blind. The small blind calls. The flop is J94. Your're sitting with top pair and bet 3X the big blind. The small blind raises. Whats he got? AA? Not likely. He probably would have raised before the flop. KK,QQ ?Same thing. He has JJ, and you know he has a bigger kicker. Maybe you should fold 'em.

Welcome to my poker poker blog. I started play poker in Vegas 48 years ago. After winning three days in a row, I was totally hooked. Now my goal in life is to help other people become as good as I am. In this blog I will share my experiences as a poker player.
